Participation & Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in Step It Up Austin classes, workouts, dance activities, events, and related programs involves physical activity and carries inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, strains, sprains, collisions, injury, illness, or other physical harm.
I voluntarily choose to participate and accept responsibility for determining whether I am physically able to participate safely. I agree to stop participating if I experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or other concerning symptoms.
Release of Liability & Hold Harmless
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I voluntarily assume the risks associated with participation and release and hold harmless Step It Up Austin, its owners, instructors, staff, contractors, volunteers, hosts, and participating venues from claims arising from the ordinary risks of my voluntary participation, except to the extent a claim cannot legally be waived.
I understand that this agreement applies to my participation in Step It Up Austin activities whether in person, outdoors, at a third-party venue, or virtually/online.
Emergency Care
If an emergency occurs and I am unable to provide consent, I authorize reasonable emergency assistance to be sought on my behalf. I understand that I am responsible for any resulting medical expenses.
Photo, Video & Media Release
Step It Up Austin classes and events may be photographed, recorded, or livestreamed.
I understand that I may appear incidentally in photographs or video when participating in group activities or livestreamed classes and agree
to give Step It Up Austin permission to use photographs or recordings in which I am identifiable for promotional, social media, website, advertising, and other business purposes without compensation.
